A new Youth Training Centre building at Gulati is nearing completion and a grant has been approved to enable the establishment of training courses in Design, Cutting and Sewing as well as in Carpentry.

OA Support : no longer requires funding

This skills training and income generation programme based on the Morning Star Ranch has four strands: Soap Making, Paper Making, Bee Keeping and Sewing. The project was supported by a one-off set-up grant so no longer requires funding and is aiming to become self sufficient through the sale of their products.

ACET (Aids Care, Education and Training) in association with the Salvation Army and the National Baptist Convention of Zimbabwe have established market gardens in five local primary schools to assist in food security and some income generation for pupils and teachers. This project is no longer being funded as it has become self sufficient.
