OA Support : from November 2009 (currently being funded)
OA is assisting in health promotion amongst needy rural families in Nicaragua as we support the work of AMOS Health and Hope, which is led by David and Laura Parajón. AMOS is a Christian organisation dedicated to decreasing the disparities in health and to work towards health care for all people. They support locally run basic health clinics in 27 remote communities which are a long way from the nearest government health centre. OA is providing £11,600 for this project in 2012.
