Joel Edwards is speaking at this year's Operation Agri seminar, on the theme of 'World Hunger and Poverty - are we really making any progress?'
The seminar is at 2 p.m. on Sunday 2nd May in the Plymouth Guildhall, Royal Parade, PL1 2ER.
The world has pledged "to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger by 2015."
- What progress are we making towards fulfilment of this and the Millennium Development Goals?
- How should individual Christians and UK churches respond?
Joel Edwards is International Director of Micah Challenge.
He is also well-known as a broadcaster and former General Director of the Evangelical Alliance.
This is part of the programme for the Baptist Assembly, but it is not necessary to be registered for the assembly in order to attend, and entrance is free - so all are welcome!
